Happy Tuesday to you! How was your weekend?

We took an impromptu trip down to St. Thomas! Stephen had a small break in his schedule and we’d been going back and forth about going. Then on Thursday, Stephen decided he really wanted to go just for the weekend! Needless to say, I was so excited! [I must admit, this is one of the major bonuses of being married to a commercial pilot.]

So, we packed our bags, made a last minute reservation, and Saturday morning we were off! We stayed on St. Thomas to keep costs down, but went to St. John on Saturday to enjoy some secluded beaches. It was AMAZING! Have you been to the USVI? Next time we go, we’re staying on St. John as the majority of it is a Nature Preserve so it’s just gorgeous!

Although I’m told it was a beautiful weekend here in Charlotte, there is just something about getting away in January or February that makes me feel refreshed.

I’m back, getting into the grind and looking forward to a dinner out with some of my favorite ladies tonight! I hope your week is off to a fantastic start.
