Snapshots: Zion National Park
Friends, if you’re up for it, I’d love to share some pictures from my family vacation! We spent a week at Zion National Park where we hiked, hiked and hiked some more, rode ATVs, relaxed by the pool, played volleyball, rode the zip line and horses, went skeet shooting and enjoyed the gorgeous vistas.
This is a selection of the nearly 300 pictures we took with a combination between regular and Instagram filtered shots. I’ve tried to mostly include shots that give you a feel for the wide array of landscape in the park, and, for the most part, left out pictures of family doing various activities since I don’t think you’ll find them all that interesting!
One thing I must mention is our hike through The Narrows. It was hands down one of the top 5 experiences of my life! I’m not that experienced with rugged outdoor treks, but the 10 miles trekked through cold water, with ginormous rock formations so tall you could barely see the sky, simply left me speechless. If you ever have the opportunity to experience this natural wonder, I highly recommend you give it a go.
This trip definitely made me miss living in the west and being able to see nothing but wide open spaces for a far as the eye can see. I’m very much looking forward to our next trip!
