Loving…
It’s almost Friday, can you believe how this week and month are flying by? There are so many great things floating around on the internet tempting me to spend, spend, spend. How about a little loving list?
1- I’ve had a mini love affair with vintage jadeite over the years, but was recently reminded of how pretty it is when I saw a few pieces at my sister-in-laws house. I’m thinking I’d like a small trinket box to hold cotton balls or hair ties and bobby pins. You can find great selections on Ebay and Etsy.
2- This Mass by Kara Ryan bracelet is calling my name. Simple, delicate but incredibly unique. Perhaps a 4th of July present to myself?! Kidding.
3- Last weekend when we were at the beach I used a Turkish style bath towel and loved it! They’re super light, quick drying and work equally well as a towel or picnic blanket. I’m going to add a few more to our collection and donate the cheap ones we’ve accumulated over the years.
4- It always makes me sad when people say they can’t afford original art when in truth, it’s anything but. Stephanie actually wrote a great piece about this topic that you can read here. Anyway, Malissa Ryder’s work has quickly been added to my wish list. I’m not a painter, but I’ve heard watercolor is one of the most challenging paints to work with as it’s not forgiving. Clearly, I’m having a moment with art.
What’s caught your eye recently?
